If you are interested in opportunities to network with other administrative professionals and participate in educational programs, consider joining the Ak-Sar-Ben Chapter. Being actively involved in a chapter also helps you gain leadership experience and builds management-level skills that you might not learn on your job. CPS/CAP certification is not required to join the Chapter.
Membership Categories
There are three types of membership in IAAP:
Professional: A currently employed (or within the last two years) administrative professional, a holder of the CPS and/or CAP rating, or an employed teacher of business education.
Student: A student in business education (maximum of four-years in this Student classification).
Associate: An individual, firm or educational institution that sustains the objectives of IAAP. For business or institution, provide name and address of contact person.
